Tired of “Speedballs!”

We’re tired of hearing about all these young people doing speedballs!  Speedballs are heroin and cocaine combined and they’re very dangerous.  The reason this drug combination is so dangerous is because the two when mixed confuse the body.  The cocaine raises the heart-rate…quickly and the heroin slows the heart-rate at the same time.  The cocaine wears off much faster than the heroin which then truly can, in effect, shut down the heart.  Cocaine addiction and heroin addiction combined raises the effects of both the drugs twofold making this dangerous combination a strong invitation to the curious addict looking for the “better high” or “stronger high.”  If you have any concerns of a family member or friend abusing either of these drugs starting calling for help immediately!
