Appropriate Items to Bring

Personal toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, mouthwash, body lotion, sunscreen etc. All items must be alcohol and propellant-free (pump-style only). Don’t worry about towels we provide them for you.
Clothing: warm and cool clothing, gym clothing, bathing suit, different shoes for different activities (gym, relaxing shoes, hiking shoes etc.), casual clothing for in the evening, sleepwear etc.op
Electronics: I-pod, MP3 player, cell phone, camera, palm pilot. None of these items are to be used in the first 10 days. They will be locked up in the clinical offices. After the 10-day assessment period they will be given to you and are not to be used in any group setting or one-on-one sessions. You will be given the detailed policies and procedures of the facility upon intake.
Hobbies: Whatever your hobby may be we want you to feel comfortable in continuing to be active with that hobby in a healthy way while in our program. You can bring any musical instrument, scrap booking materials, sketch pads etc. Basically, just talk with your intake coordinator about what you’d like to bring.
Photos/photo books
Magazines (appropriate, no pornographic material of any kind) and books
Payment in full for the program

Cash and/or debit card to have during your stay for “extras” and the store run. We recommend no more than $300.00 in small denominations. If you request, we can keep your spending cash locked in the company safe.

Toiletries and/or cosmetics that contain alcohol
Any drink that contains caffeine and/or sugar
Weapons of any kind
Items exceeding $300.00 in value. Leave these items at home. Turning Point Centers is not responsible for loss or theft of any item during your stay. If you have an item with a higher value and would like us to keep it locked in the company safe we will.
Movies
Any pornographic material
Drugs and/or alcohol. All medications will be checked by our Medical and Clinical Director and kept locked up in the clinical offices
Candles and/or air fresheners
